Issue #2 May Week 3

Top Story-Round 5 MXS National Series at Locust
Round 5 of the MXS National Series was held last week end at Locust MX Park. This was the first national that the new demo splicing was used and it turned out a major success. It was a action packed race from start to finish with DJ aboard the Team Massacre Factory Yamaha grabbing the holeshot. After the first lap is was a 4 rider lead pack of rewrew on the Torco Fuels/MXS Factory Honda with the early lead DJ in 2nd motox161 with 3rd and mace-x with 4th all with a gap of about 1.9s. At the halfway point it was still rewrew out front but close on his tail was DJ and motox161 only 1.1s behind. At the halfway point JLV on his privateer RM125 was hanging a solid 4th 8.6s behind the leaders. At the end of lap 6 rewrew handed the top to spots to motox161 and DJ after he had a pretty ugly get off before the finish and had trouble getting going again. After that rewrew put his head down and put in some solid laps to catch motox161 until he fell again in the woops on lap 9. That left motox161 out front all alone to run away with the win to make it 5 in a row for the Torco Fuels/MXS Factory Honda rider. Hope you guys all enjoyed the race be sure to watch the demo located here and to attend next weeks race at Glendside!
